That's all we got for #Vertcoin
Overview of Vertcoin
Vertcoin is a cryptocurrency similar to Bitcoin in the sense that it utilizes blockchain technology but has the additional unique features such as stealth address technology and resistance to centralized mining which has become a notable issue for Bitcoin Cash. In a nutshell, it still remains peer to peer but is deeply focused on decentralization and no single bank or mining company controls it as it was originally meant for cryptocurrencies.
The ASIC resistance is what makes it impossible for large scale miners to thrive on Vertcoin. As a result decentralization to the maximum possible extent is guaranteed. This was a major goal of initial cryptocurrency developers but has become subverted in recent times that conduct large scale mining making the mining operation to be concentrated in a few hands.
Once a user acquires a wallet, they can begin to mine using Graphic cards (GPU). The fact that power is placed back in the hands of the user results in a great community of users. In the politics of cryptocurrency that is a powerful tool.
